Mystery House
You and 7 other guests have been invited to an abandoned Victorian mansion to search for the hidden jewels.
Decades ago, "Mystery House" was a pioneering interactive fiction game developed for the Apple II by Ken and Roberta Williams. Released in 1980 under their company, On-Line Systems (later Sierra), the game achieved significant success, selling over 10,000 copies in a nascent market for home computer software. It utilized primitive graphics and accepted simple one- or two-word commands from players. As a testament to its impact, in 1987, on Sierra's 7th anniversary, "Mystery House" was released into the public domain.
